What is a first contact mental health practitioner?
Are you feeling sad, anxious, or experiencing low mood? Our First Contact Mental Health Practitioners (FCMHP)are working in the GP surgery and available to offer you some support. The FCMHP can;
- Support the GP to assess your needs
- Offer advice
- Introduce you to help and support in the community
- If necessary introduce you to specialise services

Call reception and ask to be booked straight in to an appointment

GPs/nurses can book patients in following a consultation if mental health need is identified
